I’d like to take the opportunity to give feedback on my experience of working with WEALTH at work. From my early days in Wave, I had wanted to introduce financial education but needed to find a provider who would work in partnership with us and understand that our culture is very employee focused.
We wanted a quality programme from an experienced provider, however, we had to balance that with affordability which can be difficult for us as we simply don’t have the budgets of large corporates. Our experience of WEALTH at work has been superb! They took the time to get to know us which enabled us to build a great working relationship and help us to deliver an informative programme that is tailored to Wave. The service has been so good that we have just agreed to develop more topic based sessions.
We offered our first 3 topics – retirement planning, managing your money and pensions awareness – as purely voluntary sessions to all our employees. We hoped we might get a 50% take up but were thrilled to see a 78% attendance. Each one of these sessions will have helped someone and we saw 3% of our employees increase their pension contributions in less than a week after attending a session, that’s a huge impact.
