Trustees concerned about scams.

Pensions Expert has reported on how Trustees are concerned about members being scammed out of their savings through risky pension transfers.

Jonathan Watts-Lay, Director, WEALTH at work, comments; “In some cases members might want to transfer simply because ‘my mate did it’” and adds, “Guidance can help to question a members decision.”

Watts-Lay stresses the importance of putting in place a process to support members, “Even if it’s just one person transferring.”
