‘Financial wellbeing…a new phenomenon or not?’ event – November 2023.

Our event ‘Financial wellbeing …a new phenomenon or not?’ took place at the Shangri La, The Shard, London on 14 November 2023.

It covered a range of topics from a variety of industry experts. We heard from Professor Sir Cary Cooper, CBE who discussed what financial wellbeing really means and why it is important.

Jackie Spencer from Money and Pensions Service covered the real money issues people are facing including life events that act as a trigger for household finances becoming unmanageable.

Heidi Allan from LCP shared research on the different financial wellbeing needs across the workforce and Jonathan Watts-Lay, WEALTH at work, joined in to cover our research on what employers say they are going to do to support employees.

Kiera Maloney provided insights into how Smiths Group  have supported their share plan participants at maturity.

Maria Stavropoulou from LinkedIn also provided a practical insight into how to put together a financial wellbeing programme.
