Jonathan Watts-Lay, Director, WEALTH at work, a leading provider of financial education in the workplace, supported by guidance and advice, comments in Pensions Expert on how often employees assume they will not need advice and fail to understand the number of factors in calculating their needs during retirement.

Watts-Lay comments; “[If you] ask [employees] if they need advice, most people will say no, but if you do a [financial] education programme, spend a few hours talking about all the things they need to think about, typically 60% to 70% say they want [it].”
