Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association launches ‘at retirement services’ Made Simple Guide.

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association published its latest Made Simple Guide on ‘at retirement services’ to help pension schemes understand the new choices facing savers following the pension freedom reforms and identify where schemes can provide help and support.
The new guide, sponsored by WEALTH at work, was published earlier today at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association Trustee Conference in London.
Joanne Segars, Chief Executive, Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, said:
“The pension freedom reforms dramatically reshaped the at retirement landscape for savers in defined contribution (DC) pension schemes and, whilst the reforms have been broadly welcomed, there is no doubt that the decisions savers now face at retirement are more complex than a year ago.”
“It’s not just savers who find themselves in new terrain. Employers and trustees are also witnessing their roles change and new challenges emerge as they continue to provide a workplace pension scheme and support scheme members. That’s why in association with WEALTH at work we have published this Made Simple Guide to help pension schemes understand the new choices facing savers following the pension freedom reforms and identify where schemes can provide help and support.”
