Financial education – making a difference in the workplace

WEALTH at work a leading provider of financial education, guidance and advice in the workplace, sponsored this years ‘Best Financial Education Strategy’ category at the Employee Benefits Awards on 12th June.

Congratulations to BT Group, Saveshare for winning the award which was presented by Jonathan Watts-Lay, director, WEALTH at work.

Francis O’Mahony, Head of Share Schemes at BT Group comments, “It was the success of the communication campaign that I think really stood out. The education is the answer to why it was successful. It means a lot [to win and] there has been a real buzz around the organisation. [During the campaign] everyone was talking about share schemes, it was one of the most popular stories on the intranet.”

Jonathan Watts-Lay adds, “It’s fantastic to support this event, but also to see that financial education is making a difference and that organisations are recognising the importance of it within the workplace.”
