Peter Harrison, age 59 from Lincolnshire attended a retirement seminar whilst working for BT.

He comments; “I was really impressed with what was covered in the seminar. It made me really think about how I could manage my finances in a way which would best suit me.”

Peter went on to meet with a financial Adviser to discuss his individual needs in more detail. He comments; “My Adviser was great at explaining different ideas to help me with my retirement planning. I was provided with a report following the meeting which was easy to understand and covered everything we discussed.”

Since then, Peter has retired and entrusts my wealth to manage his savings on his behalf. He comments; “Before retiring, I was always under time pressure but now I have the free time to spend on my hobbies such as maintaining and upgrading my homebuilt aircraft, house DIY, car maintenance, playing music and walking my dog. It’s great that I have been able to spend quality time with the grandchildren and I am even thinking about planning a holiday to Australia.”

Peter comments on his overall experience, “The thing that I like best about the service is that from the beginning I have been kept in the loop and my Adviser has always been there for me. I found the service professional and at no point did I feel pressured in any way. One year on, I’m still very satisfied with the service provided.”
