Retirement survey results 2021: the impact of the pandemic on retirement plans.

New research from WEALTH at work has uncovered the varying impact the pandemic has had on employee’s retirement plans.

  • 22% say it has made them want to retire earlier and as soon as they can
  • 13% want to delay retirement because they have realised they enjoy working
  • 11% have had to delay retirement as they can no longer afford to retire

Understanding the intricacies of retirement can be a daunting prospect for many. Some feel overcome by the complexity of options and tax legislation and others are wary of the rise in pension scams.
