WEALTH at work recently conducted a survey with Reward to investigate the changing reward and benefits needs of the UK’s workforce. The survey had a focus on financial wellbeing and what strategies are in place to reduce the burden of financial stress on employees.
Some of the key findings from the employer’s surveyed include:
- 41% said that meeting future employer increases to the auto-enrolment minimum, was their biggest challenge for 2018
- 38% provide access to regulated financial advice at retirement
- 61% do not analyse their workforce for financial education and regulated advice needs
- 82% do not have a financial wellbeing policy
We believe it is important to help employees feel secure when it comes to their finances. A relevant and well communicated financial wellbeing strategy can deliver on this and is mutually beneficial to both employers and employees.
