The growth of retirement income services

Jonathan Watts-Lay, Director, WEALTH at work, comments on the growth of retirement income services in the workplace, in the latest issue of Professional Pensions.  Watts-Lay comments “The big change is that more people are retiring from DC schemes now.  Employers used to be more DB-focused but this is changing as we see people retire with some DB and DC savings.  People retire in a less-than ideal situation because they don’t understand the implications of the decision.”
